My debut on Basque Television (ETB) in a programme about the people from our village of Ituren. The scene is shot both at my house and my neighbour's farm where we recount the story of how the shepherds used to hang containers of soup on my gate when they took the sheep to my field. These were for my daughter's lunch - as no one believed in my cooking skills!

Here I present my travel memoir, ‘In the Footsteps of Smugglers’, published by Bradt. Footage of the famous Ituren-Zubieta carnival combines with an introduction to Basque mountain life, smugglers’ tales and the history of the WW2 resistance network the Comet Line.

An in-depth documentary about the WW2 resistance network, the Comet Line, run by the young Belgian nurse Andrée de Jongh. The Last Passage focuses on her final trip with a group of Allied airmen toward the Basque-Spanish border and her capture in January 1943.
